What do you guys recommend?

ive tried the analyze pc program to help me choose a ghaphics card from the Nvidia site, but it doesnt give me any information.

i have a budget of about $160

and i use my computer for Online gaming (World of warcraft, Atlantica, hoping for some shooter games, etc), video editing, watching tv and movies, and stuff like that.|||well you could consider buying GeForce 8800GT which suits your needs and your budget......

hope this solves.........|||Hmm... since its a compaq presario, it probably has a cheap power supply.... not sure about depth of the case either... so, something like a 9800 GTX would likely not fix, or run instability due to you not meeting the power requirements.

If you insist on going Nvidia something like a 9600 GT or a 8800GS/9600GSO might work. They have lower power requirements, and would be able to easily run World of Warcraft and most shooters other than Crysis.|||First, I suggest you buy more DRAM. Windows will noticeably speed up if you add another modules, and games will actually run faster, too. 2GB is an okay figure for vista, and a dual-channel 2x1GB kit cost about $25-30 on Newegg. I doubt your PC supports dual channel, though, so I suggest just buying a lone 2GB module to bump yourself up to 3GB.

Second, your CPU is crap and will hold you back in tasks like video editing, but given the way vendor-customized motherboards are, I doubt you have many options to upgrade it. Research forums if you wish to check out this avenue.

Graphics: Well, 6150se is abysmal. I've used it, and it has all the power of a circa-2002 mainstream card. Newegg has a 9500GT for $40, and while no barn-burner, should get you playing titles like COD4 on moderate settings. Runs on stock power supplies with no 6-pin plug, and doesn't need much cooling attention.|||I think in your case you would need a better power supply at least 450W. You will need more ram 1GB just wount do. You say you only have 38GB of free memory on your Hard drive? I'd opt for more hard drive space. Either get rid of old programs/files you haven't used or get a second hard drive. The MSI NX8800 GTS is really up there but it may be more than your rig can handle. XFX 8600 GT would be good but it requiers at least 300W of power. There is more to making a "gaming" rig than just throwing in a hot video card!
