Best video card for £100-£150.?

Hi,



I'm thinking about getting a new 3D card. I don't want to shell out huge amounts of money but I definitely want to get my money's worth.



If you could post your card of choice along with a short description and a link i'd appreciate it.

unless your going to get vista / windows 7



i just got a 9800gt (today) its almost the same as your 8800gt

memory: 1GB ddr3.

GPU Clock 670 MHz

Shader Clock (MHz) 1950 MHz

Memory Clock (MHz) 1800 MHz



this cost me £70 uk

its a good upgrade for me from the 8500gt ddr2 card

but you have a 8800gt i would wait for a little while if i was you ;-)|||I,ve got the Nvidia 260 and am well pleased with it, playing FEAR 2, awesome graphics. Far Cry 2/ Crysis/ Crysis Warhead, all top class performance.|||Do what i did. download and run 9800gtx drivers it works wonders and saves a lot of money. then save your pennies for the

9800GX2

its a 2gpu card that knocks the socks off other cards and the only way ati can equal it is by going crossfire, but even that does'nt give ati very much headway because then you sli the 9800GX2 and you wipe the floor with them again,

STAY as you are d/load the drivers and save your pennies
