I would like to know how or what kind of video card i need. I'll be mainly using it for gaming and i have a budget of around 200$ for the card. I'll be using a monitor that has a max res. at 1650x1080. im pretty sure thats the screen res but not 100% anyway thanks for your help if u anwser OH ya and so far im looking at the gtx 460 and the radeon 6800 series so i hope that helps|||The resolution is 1680x1050, you were close ^^. The best bang for your buck with the greatest performance would be the HD 6870
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…|||Dude try the GTX 560ti from EVGA you can get it NEW from newegg after rebate for 230, or from the EVGA B-Stock page for 180. 180 for that card is an INSANE deal i bought mine there and it SHREDS all games i throw at it MAXED out. Crysis all very high 16XQAA 45+ FPS constant. The only thing it has trouble with is Crysis 2 on all Ultra, with DX11 and High Res Textures on, but its sorta-kinda playable at 25-30 FPS, but turn it down to extreme or very high and BOOM great fluid graphics. BTW im also on 1680X1050.
