Want them to be compatible and be able to play newest games fast and at max settings. Don't really care about the price but the lower the better.|||Intel Core 2 Due is the best cpu for gaming and its on board video card too|||My answer's going to be a little overkill. Best processor would be intel core i7 extreme edition 980x (3.33 ghz, 6 cores), video card would be xfx radeon hd 5970 black edition limited (2gpu's, 4gb), and motherboard would be asus rampage iii extreme. Mind you, the first two items i mentioned alone is going to set you back at least $2000.|||well for cpu go with the I7 quad core or intel core i7 980x
