What is the best video card i can get for under 100?

nothing over 100 pls. It needs and it needs to run on a dell xps 400

also if u could list a few that go for under 80 and a few under 60. A lot of work but it would be much apreciated. I am pretty good at telling which card will run what games but i dont know what type of card the xps 400 will use|||Dell XPS 400 has an Intel 945P chipset motherboard with a regular PCI Express x16 slot, and comes with some sort of medium-fast Pentium D CPU. It has a 375 watt power supply which supports 30A combined on the +12V rails.

Basically, with a PCI-E x16 slot and 30 amps available on the +12V, there are lots of good video cards you could install. However, keep in mind, you will still be CPU limited to some extent by the Pentium D CPU.

The fastest card under $100 is the Radeon 4850,

make sure it's not faulty.|||One that is broken and does Not work! LOL Just kidding--Seriously though, you should be able to get a pretty decent one for around 100.00. I got my NVIDIA 512 DDR2 video card for my desktop about a year or just over a year ago, and at that time it ran me around 140.00, so I am sure that, now, you could at least get one like that for your $100.00, probably less even. It all depends on where you go to get it. if I were you, I would either check for a good deal on Ebay or check out CDW. Ordering online, you are always destined to get a much better deal and much more for your money, than if you walk right into a place and buy one. I eventually learned that, but it took me a while to see and learn that I was paying all those high prices in the stores because of "instant gratification". If you have patience enough to wait, then I would order whichever graphics card you need and can find online. And please, stay away from Craigslist.org in looking for one. Lately a lot of people, some of them my friends, have been really getting ripped off by people on craigslist.
