Is there a particular resolution i should be using when i play PC games? What is the best one to use with my 22" monitor..My video card has alot of options for it, i currently use 1280x960..|||That depends on your graphics card and what games you are playing. You will always get the sharpest image when running at your monitors native resolution, although your PC may not be capable of running the games you are playing at that resolution. Most likely your monitor is either 1920x1080 or 1680x1050, and the picture would look best on whichever one.|||I hate these new 'HD' and widescreen LCD's. Whatever was wrong with the good old 4:3 standard, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 1600x1200 resolutions that actually gave you a decent amount of screen real estate? :'( I mean 960 high?! Thats not enough for a webpage!

|||You should always use the maximum resolution supported by your monitor for best quality visuals. Most 22" monitors will be at 1680x1050.|||Look stranded resolution for gaming is 1024*764, but if it shows more options then you should go for bigger size.
