Best bang for the buck video card for 1440 x 900 lcd?

Just want your opinion on a good card for 1440 x 900 resolution, benchmarks and reviews doesn't include this resolution. Is the 4850 enough for me to play the new games in high quality? I'm pretty sure 4870 can handle this, but i think i could be wasting a lot of the cards potential in that small resolution. or is the 9800GT capable of delivering high quality gaming for the new games. I'm upgrading in anticipation of fallout 3.|||not at all. the 9800gtx+ or the 4850 are two solid choices. fallout3 is probably going to be too much for a 9800gt. a 9800GT is just a rebranded 8800gt. you also want to future proof. and you sure won't be maxxing out crysis anytime soon with any of those cards!!!
