What is the best PC computer for gaming/video editing?

Looking for brand/amount of RAM, CPU power, graphics cards... want something that will run VERY fast, and I can use video editing software and gaming without fear of a crashing or freezing.|||do you have an budget. if u dont i recommend intel core i7s processor but most people have a slight budget as the core i7s are expensive.

amd phenom II x4 series are good. quad core is needed for big tasks like ur editing. the quad cores also do well on games and some even support quad cores. the best graphics cards are made by ati. their best is the 5990. its name is the ati radeon hd 5990. ram... games need at least 4 gbs of ram but since ur doing other things i would suggest 8 gbs of ram(dual channel,,, dont worry not important) ddr3 at 1600mhz. the motherboard shoudl be asus and compatibaility is easy to check so dont sweat. your hard drive should be a 7200 rpm hdd with 32 mb of cavhe. thats basically it (monitor shoudlbe 1080p 23" with at least 5 ms responce time.. 2 is recommended but a bit more expensive) also you need a back up power supply(they work as surge protecotrs too and protect ur investment.. look at apc at best buy.) this should bring u to 2000 to 3000. oh and liquid cooling for ur processor and case fans that are 140mm are important. if u liek my answer plz put as best anwer. follow my rig below and ull do well
