Best video card for gaming?

Hi, I have 100 GBP to waste on gaming video card. So i want to know best place where to buy it and some info about it. Yes i want to play gta 4 without lags. If you need, here is some info about my pc:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual

Core processor 4800+

2.50 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM|||For around £100, I would suggest:

Sapphire HD6770 1G GDDR5 £100.45

or

Asus GTS 450 Direct CU 1GB GDDR5 £93.08

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/240110 (depends on whether you are a fans for AMD or Nvidia)

if you are willing to spend a bit more, I would suggest

HIS 6850 Fan 1GB GDDR5 £125.84

which out performs the 2 cards above by more than 30%

However, before you proceed, make sure you have a strong enough Power Supply. The cards above by no mean hungry monsters but they do required a 6pin PCI-E cable AND 80 to 110w from the 12v rail to operates. For those Power Supply which has 400w(+) AND 80Plus rated should have no problem. However, anything which does not have an 80PLUS Label I would say 500w for HD5770 and 600w for HD6850 just to play safe.

Check the sources below to see what kind of performance you will be expecting.

The second link shows the power consumption for the ENTIRE PC under-load

Note, a lot of cheap power supply are fake in their power ratings, so you either use an 80PLUS (which can be trusted) OR use a ridiculously large one and praying that it can deliver more than half of what it says.|||This may not be the exact answer your question, but I feel the need to let you know that memory is way more important than people realize when it comes to gaming. Before you spend so much on a gaming card, up your memory another gig or two and you will notice WAY more results than spending a lot a g-card.|||Best card for a oner?
