What is the best CHEAP video card for modern gaming? preferably 512mb models?

does the video-cards require compatibility with your RAM or motherboard? im looking for some models that are cheap but has a high MEMORY|||do you have pci express or if you dont know what that means how old is your computer because it matters or else it wont fit into your motherboard thx
