I'm looking at getting a new computer and have hit a roadblock when it comes to video cards. I intend to be doing multimedia design (running most/all Adobe products like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects) as well as other intensive programs like Maya, 3DS Max... etc. In addition, I would like to game on this set up (on the side).
I would like a video card that will give me the best of both worlds-- excellent rendering and playback as well as high resolution rendering of game environments.
Would it be best to buy a Quadro Series card, a GTX series card, an ATI 5000 Series card or simply buy two 9 Series nVidia cards and run them as SLI? (or another option)
Any and all insight would be greatly appreciated!|||Build it as a Gaming PC, and all your multi-media apps tasks will run just fine.
We can't answer your specific question about graphics card configurations without knowing the Make and Model of your MoBo, which Games, AND your budget.
